A Fresh Look and God’s Provision for
That Mom With CP

A small update before we begin: this space looks a little different now.

My blog was recently redesigned—completely unexpectedly and completely free—through WordPress. I didn’t plan for it, and I didn’t earn it. It was simply provision. Another reminder that God makes a way, often quietly, often without fanfare.

And this redesign isn’t about a fresh start or a finished story.

It’s about making room.

Disabled motherhood is still often overlooked—or flattened into inspiration or pity. There isn’t much space for the ordinary, complicated reality of raising kids in bodies that don’t move the way people expect. Too many moms carry these stories quietly because it doesn’t feel safe to tell them out loud.

That Mom With CP exists to help change that.

This space is rooted in my experience as a mom with cerebral palsy, but it isn’t meant to stop with me. It’s meant to grow into a place where disabled moms—especially those navigating mobility and physical disabilities—can be seen as whole, capable, struggling, faithful, tired, loving humans.

Honesty, Dignity, and Faith in Motherhood

There are no tidy answers here. No pressure to be inspiring. Just honesty, dignity, and the belief that these stories matter—even when they don’t fit the mold of what motherhood is supposed to look like.

If you’ve ever felt overlooked in conversations about parenting…
If your body has shaped your motherhood in ways people don’t notice…
If you’ve needed a place where you don’t have to explain or perform…
There’s space for you here.

If this resonates with you, I want to hear from you!

Parenting with Cerebral Palsy comes with unique joys and challenges, and I know how important it is to feel seen and supported. I’d love to hear from you — whether you have a story to share, a question, or just want to connect with someone who truly understands.
